This workshop is intended for professionals responsible for the implementation of EU-GHS/CLP in their organisation, whether active in product labelling and packaging, transport and logistics or R&D. Basic knowledge of chemicals regulation is recommended.

What topics are covered in the training?

Classification, labelling & packaging – practical training offers a comprehensive coverage of the regulatory rules on classification, labelling and packaging of hazardous chemicals. The training includes four modules:

• General introduction to CLP
• Physical hazards
• Human health hazards
• Environmental hazards and product labelling

Discussed topics include: approved testing methods, hazard calculation, labelling elements and the links between CLP and other (European) regulations. Practical in nature, the training provides practical case studies and exercises wherever possible.
